September 9th is close where Apple is expected to launch its new iterations of iPhone alongside providing some details on watchOS 2 in San Francisco. Reports have been coming from various sources that Apple might give some information about expanding its Smart watch business to India along with some other countries later this month.
An Austrian website has reportedly received some information from a reputed but undisclosed source which works with country’s one of the largest electronic chain that the Apple Watch will be available for sales in Austria starting September 15th.
Whereas, Indian tech website igyaan.in has claimed that the Apple’s only wearable which went on sale in March this year worldwide will arrive in India in September with a starting price of Rs 24,999 which would be for entry-level Apple Sport Watch edition.
To be noted, Apple Watch which was released in March comes in three variants – Regular, Sports and Gold variant. Although it’s pretty much sure that Gold variant won’t be available in India at all, since the 18-Karat gold watch are only available at Apple Stores and only in some particular countries.
But still, if anyone desires to have an Apple Gold watch, instead of spending $17,000 they can just get their stainless steel Apple watch gold plated by spending around $100 for a DIY kit made available by a Kickstarter Campaign – Midas Touch.
It should also be noted that Apple has always released Apple Watch in several countries only on Friday. But According to Austrian website which reports that the device would be available from September 15th seems a bit unlikely. But still, as unannounced iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are rumored to go on sale on September 18th which is a Friday, Apple could go for an unusual day of launch this time.
