The west African Islamic extremists leader Abubakar Shekau who is generally seen in every video of Boko Haram, was not seen in any scene in the latest video. New confusion starts here. Question started arising whether he is alive or not. Is the leader of Boko Haram dead or someone took his place? Boko Haram has not released anything after this.

New video by Boko Haram fulled up the all new speculations about Abubakar Shekau. This militant group falls in pressure after five countries in Africa form a joint action force or you can say a coalition force against Boko Haram. Chad army has been striking their positions since November last.

In the video, Boko Haram tried to explain the truth and pointed out the Nigerian army’s assertion of capturing all towns from Boko Haram as a lie. In that video the new unknown guy showed an identity card of a government pilot, he says who was killed when a fighter jet had been brought down though there was no evidence of this.

Experts say that the new video that has come out where a new and unknown guy is seen, is a genuine and 100% pure Boko Haram production. There is no doubt that this militant group itself released the video. It seems that they are trying to join ISIS to build a Caliphate region jointly.

New Fights at Maiduguri

More than 13 people are reported dead in a clash in Maidguri. Maidguri is the biggest city in North Eastern Nigeria. The shells burst out in a cattle market that is a former stronghold of Boko Haram.
