Senegal from Africa declared that they would support the campaign against Houthi rebels by Saudi led joint Arab military coalition. Senegal also confirmed that they would send 2100 troops to support the Yemen campaign carried out by Arab forces. Saudi Arab is continuing its air strikes against Houthi rebels. They also dropped bombs by targeting Sanaa Airport. This airport is being captured by the Shia rebel militants for a month. Just before three days ago, Saudi Arab hit by a group of shia militants. The militant group targeted a border check post. Three Saudi soldiers were died in cross fire after both Saudi soldiers and Rebel Houthi militants engaged in severe gun fight at that border post. Somehow they defeated the rebel group by calling air support. If air support did not arrive at time, that border post could have been captured by the Shia militants.

Senegal to Support Soudi Led Yemen Campaign

After the incident, Saudi Arab called for help to protect its kingdom. Senegal is the first to give response and confirmed that they would send their troops to fight Houthis and to save Arab Kingdom.

Senegal quoted that they were trying to protect the holy sites of Islam- Mecca and Madina. Here a point to be cleared that Senegal is country with Sunni majority that receive aid from Saudi Arab every year. But Senegal government announce its stand, oppositions started criticize the decision. According to them Neither Arab is under threat nor the holy sites Mecca and Madina. In Yemen more than 1500 people have been killed as per the UN report. Meanwhile Al Qaeda also captured a airport.

Humanitarian coordinator Johannes Van Der Klaauw urged-
